开始时：参加的人数占总人数的：3÷（3+5）＝3/8

后来，参加的人数占总人数的：2÷（3+2）＝2/5

两次相比较，增加了总人数的：2/5-3/8＝1/40

15人是总人数的1/40，所以总人数是：15÷1/40＝600（人）

答：六年级有600人。
