One thing that we know for sure is the fact that more and more people are ditching traditional web browsing. Instead, many are opting to surf the web on their mobile devices. With this in mind, web designs and development are making sure to meet the changing needs. This means that many innovations will involve responsive web design.

We will see less of is flat or 2D designs, developers are discovering that 3D elements will add a bit of depth to the framework. A card-based interface design will help organize content and is completely mobile friendly and cross-device consistent. Each container will contain one piece of content available with one click.

It isn’t just the interface design that will see some graphic changes. Creative typography will also be trending this year. Bold and big typefaces will still work well with some of the more trendier texts. However, simple typefaces will still be the main choice to keep content readable.
