如下图所示，工具箱的下半部分是棱长为24cm的正方体，上半部是圆柱体的一半。算出它的表面积和体积。

分析：先来看下这个工具箱的表面积，它下面是个正方体，上面是个半圆柱。把上面的半圆柱的曲面和两个半圆合在一起看，正好是整个圆柱表面积的一半，即：（3.14×12×12×2+3.14×12×2×24）÷2＝1536.48（平方厘米）。工具箱的表积还包含了正方体前、后、左、右、下5个面的面积，即24×24×5＝2880（平方厘米）。工具箱的表面积为：1536.48+2880＝4416.48（平方厘米）。

再来看工具箱的体积，比起表面积来，体积的计算要简单一些。工具箱的体积就是半圆柱体积再加上正方体的体积，列式为：3.14×12×12×24÷2+24×24×24＝24675.84（立方厘米）。
