古埃及分数：由于对分数的认识水平有限，古埃及人只会使用单位分数（分子是1的分数，教科书上叫分数单位），所以又称单位分数为古埃及分数。古埃及人还会把一个分数表示为古埃及分数之和的形式：如：1/6=1/7 + 1/ 42，又如：1/3 = 1/4 + 1/12。
