探讨一下：这题出给小学生做合适吗？题目：用18米长的篱笆靠一面墙围成一个面积最大的长方形菜园，这个菜园的面积最大是（    ）平方米。
 A.36　　B.40　　C.大于36，小于40　　D.40.5

 解法1：用小学老师的惯有的思维，最大的长方形菜园的面积应理解成正方形，那么18/3=6 (米)。那么6乘以6=36，应选A，合情合理。

 解法2：用中学老师的思维，设这个 最大的长方形的长为x米，那么宽就有（18-2x）米。

所以面积y=x(18-2x)，就是一元二次函数问题求出最值是40.5选D。

分析：那这道题目的正确答案是解法1还是解法2，很明显解法2要大于解法1 ，如果正确答案是解法2那出在小学毕业考的试卷上合适吗？小学生的思维水平怎么会如此的高呢？还是出题的人高估了小学生和老师的能力了呢？真的很费解。
